Remote Coding Agents that run locally... super cleaver solution!
Remote Agents have changed a ton in the landscape of coding, and I don't see that slowing down. In a short 3 months from the time I first started covering Remote agents to now, we actually have a good local first option. Now it still does require a monthly subscription, but I don't need my entire codebase linked in the cloud to make this work. I knew someone was going to come up with a solution to do Remote Agents locally, but I wasn't exactly sure how it would be executed. I am excited to have been able to test RooMote the new offering by RooCode for a few days ahead of release, and the ideas I have for how to utilize this are plentiful. I love that I can do this without having to sync my entire codebase to OpenAI or Google.
