What Learning Vulkan is Like
Took me 9 months to get this damn triangle. A blog post (by Richard Geldreich) about all the nuances of OpenGL: https://richg42.blogspot.com/2014/05/things-that-drive-me-nuts-about-opengl.html More on Vulkan: I find its API to be one of the best I have used and its conventions to be very well thought out. Plus I find the documentation to be clean for learning AND using Vulkan despite what others say. I knew nothing about graphics programming prior to Vulkan and love it now. Vulkan provides all the building blocks you need. Nothing more.
